Family and faith were everything for Sandra. Philippians 4:13 was a favorite verse: “I can do all things through Him who gives me strength.” She often shared Bible knowledge, prayers of support, and any kind of emotional and physical support she could for those she loved. Her friendships were deep and long lasting. She could always pick up right where you left off, no matter how much time had passed since your last encounter.
Before retirement in 2021, Sandra’s work life included office management and accounting for several companies in the Shreveport/Bossier area, including Louisiana Valve and Fittings Co, BJ Services, Baker Hughes and Gly-Tech. Having graduated from Lubbock High School in 1970, attended Sam Houston State University and later Bossier Parish Community College, she was always an avid learner, willing to go above and beyond to help her colleagues.
In addition to her family, faith, and work life, Sandra loved spending time with her dogs. Her beloved Bella has been a great companion in recent years, along with Layla, and many other cherished dogs throughout her lifetime.
Sandra loved going out to eat, especially for steaks, and watching movies and tv series. Yellowstone and Gray’s Anatomy were among her favorites. She will forever be Daughter of the Most High King, cherished wife, beloved mother and grandmother, sister, and faithful friend.
