A graveside service will be held for Roberta B. Dixon, 89, Friday, January 13, 2023 beginning at 2:00pm at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home. Officiating the service will be Dr. Ashley Goad of First United Methodist Church of Shreveport.
Roberta is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Lorna Bodger; husband, Robert E. Dixon; and daughter Jacqueline Sue Dixon.
Left to cherish her memory is her honorary family, Rhonda and Edward Anglin, Marilyn Yore, and Ashley, Kelsey and Jason Rowe.
Roberta and Bob were married 61 years. Roberta loved travel and wanted to travel the world until her "golden years were tarnished"; and she did. Roberta will be remembered for her quick wit and her beautiful singing voice. She sang in the church choir and the Bossier/Shreveport Choral Ensemble. Roberta was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children, First United Methodist Church of Shreveport, or the charity of choice.
