Robert Lee Watson

BOSSIER CITY, LA – Graveside services to honor the life of Mr. Robert Lee Watson, 81, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 20, 2014, at Hill Crest Memorial Park, officiated by Bro. John Baker. Visitation will be held on Monday evening between the hours of 6-8 p.m. at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home.

Robert was born July 3, 1932, in Lufkin, TX and passed away on Thursday, May 15, 2014. He was a member of Carriage Oaks Church of Christ and enjoyed fishing, painting, hunting, and wood working. Robert wore many hats which included business owner, husband, dad, and grandfather. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Robert is preceded in death by his wife, Doris Vice Watson; and parents, Marshall and Edna Watson. He is survived by his children, Bobby Watson and wife Camile of Spokane, WA, Janice Henry and husband David of Shreveport, LA, Raymond Watson and wife Cathy of Shreveport, LA, and Richard Watson and wife Valerie of Benton, LA; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the ICU staff of Life Care Hospital and especially to Brenda Watson for all of the care and compassion shown to Robert.
