Robert Michael Mitchell

Robert Mitchell, age 49 passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2011. He was born August 10th 1961 in Troy, NY to Roger and Johanna Mitchell.

Robert had been a long distance truck driver for the past 25 years, and was an owner/operator of his own truck. He had numerous awards for having a perfect driving record, and had never recieved a speeding ticket during his entire career. He was a huge history buff, who enjoyed reading and watching movies; comedies being his favorite! Robert loved animals, especially his pit bull “Duchess” and his mini pincher “Harley.” But most of all he was a loving son, brother, and friend who will be missed by all that knew him.

Robert was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents; Anthony and Sadye Maiello; and his paternal grandparents, Ezell and Gretchen Mitchell. He is survived by his mother, Johanna Dolan and husband Joe; father, Roger Mitchell, Sr.; two brothers, Roger Mitchell, Jr. and partner Mike Shupe, John Mitchell and wife Kelli; step-brother, Gary Dolan and wife Katherine; niece, Madison Margaret Mitchell; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
