Ralph B. Morris

Visitation for Ralph Burrell Morris, 93, of Odessa, TX will be held on Monday, October 28, 2024, from 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. at Hill Crest Funeral Home in Haughton, LA with memorial services to immediately follow.

Ralph was born November 16, 1930, in Beardon, OK to Benjamin Franklin Morris and Beryl Dunn Morris. He passed away on October 22, 2024. Ralph married the love of his life, Barbara Rose Burgess, on December 23, 1952. Together they raised a family and a life of happiness in Odessa, TX. Ralph worked as a pipe fitter for Bowden Construction in Odessa, TX for 46 years. Upon retirement, he loved to piddle and tinker, and had a fondness for gardening. He was also known to catch a little nap while watching the Dallas Cowboys on television.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife Barbara, as well as his siblings Benjamin Franklin Morris, Jr., Charley Ray Morris, Joe Bill Morris, Mary Binine Morris, Eva Lee Morris, Jessie Rose Morris, Vera Clel Morris, Melba Omega Morris, and Alvin Ray Morris.

Ralph is survived by his daughter, Beverly Boggs (Curtis); son, Jeffrey Morris (Renee); grandchildren, Kenneth Boggs (Laura), Crystal Hinds (Jason), Leon Calvin (Ashley), and Sheridan Shipley; 10 great grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter. He is also survived by a host of extended family and friends. His only dying wish was to be buried by the love of his life, Barbara, in Odessa, TX. Ralph will be dearly missed.
