BOSSIER CITY, LA – Services to celebrate the life of Paula Marie Peters Cochran, 55, will be held at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, March 9, 2013, at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Joey Ketchum. Interment will follow in Hill Crest Memorial Park. There will be a Vigil Service beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Friday evening at the funeral home officiated by Msgr. Carson LaCaze with visitation immediately following until 8:00 p.m.
Paula was born on July 15, 1957, and passed away on March 4, 2013. She grew up and spent her adult life living in Bossier City. She was a 1975 graduate of Airline High School, owner of Bikes Etc., and also held a degree in nursing. “MiMi” as her grandchildren called her, was also a very devoted grandmother, mother, and wife. She left us all too soon and will be deeply missed by all who loved her.
Paula is preceded in death by her father, Salvatore Peters; and her father-in-law, Billy Cochran. She leaves behind to cherish her memory; husband, Jimmy Cochran; son, Craton Cochran and wife, Jessica and their children, Jillian and Blake; daughter, Julie Cochran; mother, Jean Peters; brothers, Mark Peters and wife, Martha, and Joey Peters and wife, Vicki; aunt, Jo Raney; mother-in-law, Delores Cochran; brother-in-law, Carl Cochran and wife, Amy; special niece and nephews, Nick Peters, Brant Peters, Casey Stewart and Carrie Haley; numerous great-nieces and nephews; and her best-friends, Tammy Smith, Denise Brady, and Shelly Chamberlain.
Honoring Paula as pallbearers are Dean Hall, Joey Herman, Chris Wilkinson, Brad Jenson, Brant Peters, Peyton Chandler, Caleb Tucker, and Bryan Wagoner. Honorary pallbearers are Don Macha, Dr. John Brady, William Thomas, Richard Townley, and Roger Merritt.
