Patricia Gibbs Dellinger

HAUGHTON, LA -

Celebration of life service for Patricia Dellinger will be held at Hill Crest Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. Brother Gevan Spinney will be officiating the service. Interment will follow in Hill Crest memorial Park. Visitation will be held at Hill Crest Funeral Home in Haughton, LA on March 15, 2011 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 p.m.

Patricia was born November 18, 1928 in Adel, GA and left this world on March 11, 2011 after a long illness. Patricia was an active church member all her life and taught Sunday school for many years. Patricia is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, JC Dellinger, her parents, Isaac & Bessie Mae Gibbs, her brother, Robert Gibbs, sister, Joyce Gibbs Thornton, brother in-laws, Donald Thornton and T. I. Weston and a niece, Susan Winn.

Patricia is survived by her daughter Jennifer Dellinger-Richard and her husband Kenneth, daughter Judi Hawkins and husband Larry, daughter Joni Dellinger, sisters Dorothy Thigpen and husband W. G., Shirley Smith and husband Lewis, Melinda Parrish and husband Jack and Connie East and husband David, six grand children, two step-grand children, one great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Royce Green, Jim Stanley, Bill Burris, Dan King, Louis Thompson and Charlie Kudolis.
