Visitation for Patricia (Tricia) Antoinette Wells Crowder will be held on Friday, July 9, 2021, at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home in Haughton, Louisiana. Family visitation is at 12:00 pm and friends are invited to join at 1:00 pm. Following the visitation, service and burial will be at 2:00 pm at Pease Chapel Cemetery in Haughton, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Minister Eric Freeman.
Tricia was the sweetest, funniest, kindest, most caring person you could ever meet! She LOVED her Dr. Pepper, fried chicken, makeup, jewelry, shoes and purses. Anyone and everyone who knew Tricia , knew her favorite color was PURPLE! She had many friends and a lot of family!
The family is asking anyone to join us in wearing purple in honor of Tricia.
Tricia was born on January 1, 1970, in Haughton to Stephen "Skip" E. Wells, Sr. and Patsy Parmer Wells and passed away on July 5, 2021, at Willis Knighton Hospital in Bossier City, Louisiana. Tricia was a life long resident of Haughton, Louisiana. She graduated from Haughton high school and was baptized at red Chute Church of Christ.
She was married to Joseph Crowder; and after seven years, he passed, leaving her a widow. Tricia worked for many years bringing smiles to the hospitality industry around Bossier City. For the last several years, she has been spreading joy at Paragon Press.
She is preceded in death by her husband Joseph Crowder; parental grandparents, William and Ella Wells; maternal grandparents, Jacob Clifton and Frances Marie Hartley Parmer; and great-niece Riley Elizabeth Wallace.
She is survived by her momma Patsy "Pappy" Parmer Wells Brown; daddy Stephen E. Wells Sr.; brother Stephen E. Wells Jr.; half brothers, Wiley and Nathan Wells; nieces, Brittany Wells Kees and he husband Jacob, Jennifer Wells and her fiancé Aaron, and Jessica Wells; nephew Damian Wells and fiancée Denelle; numerous great nieces and nephews; and special aunts, Wanda "Nana", Mary "May May", and Jeanette "Nette".
Pallbearers will be her brothers and cousins. Honorary pallbearer will be her great nephew, Jacob Wallace.
Tricia will surely be missed by her family and friends!
