Pamela Kaye Rhodes

Pamela Kaye Hairston Rhodes, 76, was called to her Heavenly home, on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at The Blake in Bossier City, Louisiana. Pam was born in Navasota, Texas on December 20, 1948, to Willie and Audrey Maye Trimble. She spent most of her life in San Antonio, Texas working retail where she met her love, Clifford Rhodes. They married on July 19, 1969, and began their lives together moving around Texas with his JCPenney retail job.

It was during this time in Temple, Texas that she gave birth to her only child, Courtney Allison Rhodes in 1980, after a move to Lafayette, Louisiana, in 1982. Pam worked from home to spend more time with her daughter. The family moved to Bossier City, Louisiana to be closer to family in 1997, where she began working for Capital One. Pam then retired in 2015 to spend more time with her precious granddaughter, Annabelle.

She was preceded in death by her parents, beloved sister Lenda Vaughan, brother-in-law Vernon Vaughan of San Antonio, Texas, her in-laws Clifford and Nannie Rhodes of Bossier City, Louisiana, and her sister-in-law Patsy Rhodes, also of Bossier City, Louisiana.

She is survived by her husband of fifty-five years, Clifford Rhodes, daughter Courtney Rhodes McBee (Chuck), granddaughter Annabelle McBee of Bossier City, Louisiana; brother Cary Hairston (Jannice), brother Lonnie Hairston (Peggy), and a host of nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.

The family will be receiving guests for visitation on Wednesday, 4/16/2025, from 5:oo pm - 7:oo pm, in the Chapel of Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home, 601 Hwy 80, Haughton, Louisiana, 71037.
