Nola Faye Medders

Nola Faye Medders, 85 passed away on October 28, 2023 in the comfort of her home in Haughton, Louisiana surrounded by loving family. She was born November 12, 1937 in Oakdale, Louisiana to the late George and Lela Bailey Johnson. Nola was a career Civil Servant secretary for head of the hospital at Barksdale Air Force Base. She enjoyed attending the horse races with family, weekly luncheons with the secretarial ladies and visiting Estate sales for fun. Nola enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and will be dearly missed by all that knew her.

Nola was preceded in passing by her parents; her beloved husband, Denver Eugene Medders; two sisters: Pauline J. Monk, Zenobie Johnson; and one brother, Milford Johnson.

Left to cherish Nola’s beautiful memories is her son Gary Don Medders; one granddaughter Kodie Medders; one grandson Rollin Coen; six nieces; two nephews; cousins; extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.
