Michael Edward Wright was born on October 7, 1951 and passed away on July 5, 2021. Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Wright will be held at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home beginning at 11:00 am with interment to follow in Hill Crest Memorial Park. A gathering of family friends will begin prior to the service at 10:00 am.
Mike was a loving father who took pride in his children and grandchildren. He was a fixture for more than 40 years in the North Louisiana tire industry, retiring from Gateway Tire in 2019. He was also involved in service at Airline Drive Church, where he served as a deacon for several years.
He joins in heaven his father Carl Wright.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife Dorothy Wright; sons, Eric Wright and wife Angela of Fort Worth, TX, and Josh Wright of Bossier City, LA; daughter Delena Wright-Ciastko of Bossier City, LA; mother Emma Jean Wright; sister Carla Schillage and husband Frank of Shreveport, LA; and grandchildren Kian, Kylyn, Emma, Joey, and Ashley.
Pallbearers will be Philip Streeter, Josh Wright, Eric Wright, Kian Wright, Rusty Beckham, Justin George, Clint Nesmith, and Terry Mauldin.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Bossier K.I.D.S, Airline Drive Church of Christ, or The American Heart Association.
