She was born in Shreveport, Louisiana on August 12th 1926 to Oscar and Louise Morizot Rothenberger. Mary graduated from Fair Park High School. She married Camile Spataro August 13th, 1950. Mary worked in retail for JC Penny for several years before transitioning to working in the office at C.E. Boyd Clinic and then Ob-Gyn Associates, where she retired.
She was a member of Bossier Riding Club where she would work in the concession stands while Camile made sno cones and her children rode horses. She was a member of the Mud Putters ceramics club. She was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church.
She is survived by her sons, Mark Spataro and Kirk Spataro; daughter, Sherry Roberts; grandchildren, Todd Roberts, Justin Spataro, Lauren Clements, and Blake Spataro; great grandchildren, Conner and Camryn Spataro.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Camile Spataro and brothers Oscar, Louis, Otto, Emile, Charles, Odis, George, Albert, Joseph and John.
A visitation will begin at 1pm followed by the funeral service at 2 pm, Monday, March 28th, 2022 at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Todd Roberts, Justin Spataro, Austin Clements, Blake Spataro, Jason Mason, and Brian Furqueron.
