Bossier City, LA – Funeral Services for Mary Geraldine (Johndro) Landers will be held Sat. August 20, 2011 at 12:00 (noon) in the Hill Crest Memorial Chapel. Officiating will be Stewart Freeman assistant pastor of the University Church of Christ, Shreveport, LA where she was a member. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time starting at 11:00 A.M.
Mary was born June 22, 1923 in Millinocket, ME, the daughter of Herman and Eva Johndro and passed away August 17, 2011. Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents; Frank Landers, her husband of 52 years; one sister; three brothers; and one great grandchild. She is survived by two daughters, Mary Hill and husband Grady of Jonesboro, TX, Carol Browne and husband Paul of Bossier City, LA; one sister, Ernestine Green of Albert Lea, MN; two brothers, Maurice Johndro of Bristol, CT and Darrell Johndro of Albert Lea, MN; five grandsons; one granddaughter; 14 great grand children; and one great, great granddaughter.
