Mary Catherine Fontenot

Services for Mary will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church Wednesday, October 7 at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park. A visitation will be Tuesday October 6 at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a rosary beginning at 7:30 p.m.

Mary was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved cooking for her family as well as hosting family gatherings during holidays. Mary worked at J.C. Penney for 46 years; she began in 1973 and retired this year. J.C. Penney is where she met her loving, doting husband Rick.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Anthony “Tony” Mosery, and sister Susan Mosery.

Mary is survived by her loving husband, John Richard “Rick” Fontenot; sons, daughter and their spouses, Jeremy Fontenot and his wife Heather, Jennifer Youngblood and her husband Chris, and Joshua Fontenot; grandchildren, Allie, Tanner, John Michael, Dillon, Ryder, and Anna Grace; brother Gregory Mosery; and sisters, Christine Adams and Debra Faley.

Pallbearers for Mary will be Christopher Taylor, John Powers, Benjamin Mosery, Gregory Mosery, Jeremy Fontenot, and Joshua Fontenot. Honorary Pallbearers will be Cristopher Youngblood and Darrell Adams.
