Mary Ruth Bareswill

Haughton, LA – Services for Mary Ruth Bareswill will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 13, 2015 at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel with Rev. Ronny Comstock officiating. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 12, 2015 in Hill Crest Memorial Chapel.

She was born on July 3, 1931 in Oak Grove, LA to W.R. and Eula Landrum.

Mary was a wonderful homemaker who enjoyed working in her garden and tending to her flowers, reading a nice book especially her Bible, and fishing. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Myrtle Thompson; her brother, Willie R. Landrum. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, James O. Bareswill; her four daughters, Carolyn Pittman of Princeton, LA, Pamela Backman of Portland, OR, Deborah Marquez of Sibley, LA, and Theresa Nieto of Houston, TX; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Paul Pittman, Bradley Pittman, James Marquez, Joseph Marquez, Ryan Marquez, and Dillon Gray.

Honorary Pallbearers will be H. W. Pittman, and Dan Marquez.
