Funeral services for Marie Walker, 81, will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 12, 2011 at the Hill Crest Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday, September 11, 2011 at the Hill Crest Funeral Home.
Interment will follow in Haughton Cemetery.
Mrs. walker entered into rest September 8, 2011 in Converse, LA. She was a retired Caregiver, and a former resident of Bossier City.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Dalton "D.B." Walker; and son Joe Walker,Sr.
Survivors include her son, Donnie Walker and wife Debbie; daughter, Patricia Galbraith and husband Ron; two brothers, Calvin Gullette and wife Billie, and Wayne taylor,Sr., and wife Alicia; 9 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren, and 14 great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Joe Walker,Jr., Cory Walker, Scott Walker, Blake Addison, Dennis Daugherty, Ron Galbraith, Eric Procell, Tim Addison, and Brett Walker.
