Margaret Boydstun

Margaret was born on October 15, 1925 to Louis H. and Stella Barlow Sanders in Tyler, AR. She was a resident of Bossier City and longtime member of Bellaire Baptist. She loved her church and her church family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Bill Babcock and second husband, Mead Boydstun; brothers, Bill Sanders and L.H. Sanders and sister, Louise Chaffin.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Debbie Whittington; stepchildren, Mike, Mark, Cheryl and Lynette; grandsons, Joel Merritt and wife Mandi and their family and Jamey Merritt and wife Amanda and their family; nephew, Rick Chaffin as well as extended family and dear friends.

A visitation for Margaret will be held Monday, June 24, 2024 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home in Haughton. Following the visitation will be a graveside service at 11:00 am at Hill Crest Memorial Park with Dr. Randy Harper, Pastor of Bellaire Baptist Church officiating.
