A Celebration of Life service will be held in honor of Lois James on Monday, May 12, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the Pentecostals of Bossier City Church. Rev. Kevin Cox, Louisiana District Superintendent and Rev. Jerry Dean, Pastor, will be officiating the service. The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 11, 2014 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the Pentecostals of Bossier City Church. A graveside service will follow at 4:00 p.m.at Drakes Fork Cemetery in Cravens, Louisiana.
She was preceded in death her parents, Carl L. and Dovie B. Rowell, daughter, Georgia Caron James and brother, George G. Rowell.
Lois is survived by her husband, Rev. M.K. James, daughters, Brenda James Edwards of Houma, LA, Melissa James Coker of Bossier City, LA and son, Keven Y. James of Marshall, TX. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren and her brother, Rev. Carl L. Rowell, Jr. of Sulphur, LA.
