Linda Patrecia Ward

Linda was born August 5, 1949, in Denver, Colorado to her mother Mary Saint and her father, Ralph Saint.

Linda was a devoted wife to Bill Ward for 53 years and loving and caring mother to her son, Tim Atkins and his partner James, her daughter, Becky Watchorn and her husband Paul, and her stepdaughter Lori Stewart and her husband Rob. Her family affectionately called her Nana.

Linda loved cooking for her family and looking for more family to love on Ancestry. She was a keen player of darts.

Linda loved working in retail and the food and beverage industry. Before retiring, she managed the Blue Bonnet Cafe at Sea World of Texas in San Antonio. She never left her roots and after years following Bill around with the USA Air Force, they returned to Louisiana in 1998.

In addition, Linda is survived by her siblings, Carol Spruell and Carl Saint, grandchildren Chelsea Read and her husband Tanner, Madysen Watchorn, Alex Stewart and his wife Courtney, Aaron Stewart and his fiancé Kelcey and great grandchildren Tucker, Cora and Aubrey.

Linda was predeceased in death by her parents Ralph and Mary Saint and brother Richard Rupert.

She will be greatly missed by her family who adore her with all of their hearts.

Visitation for Linda will be on Wednesday, August 2, 2023, from 5pm-7pm. The Funeral will be the following day, on Thursday, August 3, 2023, 11:00 am. Each will be held at Hill Crest Funeral Home in Haughton, Louisiana.
