Sue went to be with our Lord and Savior on August 25, 2022. Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Myrtice Cox, her husband, Dale Bell, and her brother, Kevin Cox. She is survived by her siblings: Alvin Cox and wife Donna, Kenny Cox and wife Sherry, James Cox and wife Linda, Darla Mikle and husband Wayne, Joanie Cox, Doug Cox, and Steve Cox and wife Martha. Sue has numerous nieces and nephews and twin godsons, Kevin and Kelly Little.
Sue was a life long resident of Bossier Parish. She enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews, family reunions, working in her yard, traveling, shopping, and spending time with her friends. Sue was very active in Cypress Baptist Church, and served on numerous committees. In the early days of Cypress Baptist Church, Sue served as Youth Director for several years. Sue was an outstanding cook and especially loved making candy during the holidays. Sue was loved by many and enjoyed life to the fullest.
Sue worked as an Administrative Assistant in several industries to include banking, oil and gas, and at the Louisiana Soil Conservation Office before her retirement.
Sue is already greatly missed by her family and friends.
Visitation will be held at Hill Crest between 1:00 and 2:00 PM on Sunday, August 28, 2022. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM, with Bro. Tommy Patton presiding. Interment will follow at Hill Crest.
