KEITHVILLE LA – A memorial service for Laura Baird Shaw, 68, will be held on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel with Rich Varner officiating.
Laura was born on October 30, 1945 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Charles Edward and Virginia Elizabeth Baird and passed away on November 16, 2013 in Shreveport Louisiana. Laura enjoyed life to the fullest and spent her time gambling, and loved home shopping from QVC. She was a member of the Keithville United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia Elizabeth Baird and her husband Bobby Ray Shaw. She is survived by her sons, Damon Waller, Derek Waller; her father, Charles E. Baird (Syble); sisters, Carol Taylor (Jimmy), Julie Scaife (Robert), Virginia Ginger Baird; her brother, Gordon Baird and her niece and nephew.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Laura’s special aunt, Jhoanna Baird.
