Kenneth P. Small

HAUGHTON, LA – Services for Kenneth P. Small, 82, will be held on Friday, January 22, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel with Dr. Gevan Spinney officiating. Interment will follow in Haughton Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Thursday, January 21, 2016 at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home.

Kenneth was born in Many, LA on February 11, 1933 and passed away on January 19, 2016. He was married to his loving wife of 37 years Pattie Small. Kenneth retired as a telephone repairman for AT&T on December 31, 1983 after 30 years of dedicated service. He served in the U.S. Army from March 06, 1953 until February 08, 1955. Kenneth was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Haughton. He had a passion for hunting, fishing, and raising a garden. Kenneth dedicated his life to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Vevian Small; sister, Betty Rhodes; brother, Harold Small; and brother, Bob Small.

Kenneth is survived by his wife, Pattie; son, Craig Small and wife Kim; daughter, Melissa Walls and husband Whitey; daughter, Lori Johnson and husband Mike; son Skylar Small and wife Victoria; daughter, Casey Yerby and husband James; grandchildren, Jennifer and Jeremy Small, Chris Cook, Jason and Heather Oswalt, Presley, Ellie, and Luke Yerby; sister, Kathyrn McCann.
