BOSSIER CITY, LA – A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Julia Ann Kittler, 60, at St. Jude’s Catholic Church, in Benton, LA, Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at 1:00 p.m., officiated by Msgr. Rothell Price. Inurnment will follow in Hill Crest Memorial Park. The family will receive guests on Monday evening, from 6 – 8 p.m. at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home with a vigil to begin at 6:00 p.m.
Julie was a very humble person, beautiful inside and out. She had a fierce love for her family, friends and anything with 4 legs, especially her dog, Sadie. She loved the outdoors, music, motorcycle rides, gardening, swimming, fishing, and a deep affinity for angels.
Julie was pre-deceased in death by her mom, Ann Frances Kittler, who she greatly missed. She is survived by her loving fiancé, Larry Jackson; her father, LT. Col. (Ret.) Richard Kittler and brother, James Kittler; her son, Chad Johnston and daughters, Stephanie Johnston and Kaitlin Wood; grandchildren, Jillian Cochran, Caden Johnston, Ayden Wood and Evelyn Wood.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Caden Johnston, Josh Jordan, Johnny Wesley Jackson, Charles Jeffrey Tate and Gil Wisby.
The family would like to show their appreciation for Larry’s love and dedication to his Jules, that is what love is all about. Larry whether you like it or not, you are one of us now!
Also, the family would like to add a deep debt of gratitude and appreciation to Dr. Larry Sasaki, North Louisiana Surgery Center, and Christus Highland Hospital for their outstanding care and support for Julie and our family, it made all the difference in the world. May God bless you all.
