Mrs. Julia Ann Brown, age 66, passed away peacefully Wednesday, October 19, 2022 in Bossier City, Louisiana, after courageously battling illness for quite some time.

Services in her honor will begin with a Visitation between 5 & 7, the evening of Thursday, October 27. The Funeral will be held the following day at 11:00 am on Friday the 28th. All services will be hosted at Hill Crest Memorial in Haughton.

Julia was born on Sunday, January 15, 1956 in Belzone, MS to the proud parents Earl and Lillian Geter. Julia worked for Sunbelt Courier Services for ten years. She loved life and she loved her family. Julia was a strong woman and very committed to all she cared about.

Mrs. Brown is preceded in death by: parents, Earl and Lillian Geter; son, Jason Geter; sister, Jean Geter; brothers, Walter Geter and Terry Geter.

Left to cherish her memory are: son, Corey Geter; husband, Richard Brown; and brother, James Geter; step-children, Robert Brown and Stephanie Mann; along with four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Serving as Pallbearers are: Larry Watson, Gary Watson, Rick Mann, and Mike Henk.
