John Calvin King

John Calvin King, 81,was born on November 7, 1942, in Shreveport, Louisiana, and passed away on April 17, 2024, in Bossier City, Louisiana. He was an avid outdoor enthusiast who loved fishing and Harley Davidson motorcycles, but most of all he loved his family.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of sixty years, Margaret Stephens King; his son, Randell Earl King and wife Lilly Gonzalez King and sons John Andrew King and Xavier Mathew King; sister, Billie Jean King Landry, as well as, one niece and two nephews: Ruth Ann Alt, Joey Landry and Sammy Hastings. He was preceded in death by his parents, Randell Hunt King, Sr. and Myrtle Beard King; father and mother-in-law, Earl C. Stephens and Azalea Rogers Stephens; sister, Ruth King Hastings; and brother, Randell Hunt King, Jr.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Sammy Hastings, Joey Landry, Bobby York, Joey York, Bert Revoir, and The Old White Eagle Motorcycle Club.

Visitation for John will be held on Monday, April 22, 2024, from 9:00 to 10:00 AM in the Chapel of Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home & Park, 601 Hwy. 80 East, Haughton, Louisiana, immediately followed by a Memorial Service at 10:00 AM. Officiating the service will be Dennis Aaron.
