BOSSIER CITY, LA – Services to celebrate the life of Jenny B. Hall, 86, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, May 13, 2016, at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Jonathan Beck of First United Methodist Church of Shreveport and Rev. Tom Dungan of Fellowship Methodist Church. Interment will follow in Hill Crest Memorial Park. The family will receive guests on Thursday evening from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Jenny was born on January 10, 1930, in Lincoln County, TN and passed away on the evening of May 8, 2016. She was married to her loving husband, William E. “Woody” Hall, on May 23, 1946, until his death on October 13, 2002. Jenny was a loving, hard-working wife and mother; devoted to caring for her husband and children. She was an Air Force wife that could take control and adapt to any situation while making sure every member of her family was taken care of. For many years, Jenny was also a member of Fellowship Methodist Church.
After moving to Bossier City in 1967, she worked at Beams Restaurant for thirty-six years as a waitress and cashier, with the exception of a few years when she owned her own restaurant.
In the last years of her life she was taken care of at home by her daughters and son, with the love and respect they felt their mother deserved.
Jenny is preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Sarah Alene Archer Sullivan; her husband, William E. “Woody” Hall; sister, Margaret Stephens; daughter-in-law, Stacey Hall; infant great-grandson, Zachary St. Clair; and four brothers-in-law, John, Vance, Sloan; special brother-in-law, Elmo Smith; and nephew, Randy Stephens. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Lana St. Clair of Walton, IN, Beverly Hall of Bossier City, and Larry Hall of Benton; grandchildren, Jeff Nance (Hope), Kellee Wolfe, William St. Clair (Anna), Amy Beck (Adam), Nicholas Hall, and Seth Hall; sixteen great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; her sister and best-friend, Charlene Smith; and a son by friendship, Michael Lombardino.
Pallbearers are Jeff Nance, Bill St. Clair, Greg smith, Joe Fergason, Hubert Causey, and Terry Larson. Honorary pallbearers are Jerry Shamberger, Gene Procell, Alan Reynolds, and Michael Lombardino.
