Jacqueline Jean Barnett

Jacqueline Jean Barnett, age 86, of Haughton, Louisiana passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2023. She was born April 7, 1937, in Bossier City, Louisiana, to the late Floyd and Margaret Catherine Meyers Spears. Jacqueline was an incredible cook and loved cooking for her family. In her younger years she was an avid golfer and won many amateur tournaments. Jacqueline loved spending time with her family and her beloved dogs.

Jacqueline was preceded in passing by her parents; one sister, Darlene Spears; and her late husband, Bobby R. Barnett.

Left to cherish Jacqueline's beautiful memories are her son, Bobby Dean Barnett and wife Jean, three grandchildren: Jarrett Barnett and wife Charlotte, Jordan Barnett and wife Leigh Ann, Lauren Barnett Vincent and husband Kramer; mother of Jacqueline's grandchildren, Melody Luce; three great-grandchildren: Piper Barnett, E.B. Barnett, Knox Vincent; along with extended family and wonderful friends.

A graveside celebration for Jacqueline will be held Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at 10:00 AM on the grounds of Hill Crest Memorial Park, 601 Hwy 80, Haughton, Louisiana 71037.

I'd like to express my sincerest gratitude to all the staff at Heritage Manor Stratmore who took wonderful care of her over the past year, as well as, the Lifepath Hospice team, especially Alison, her designated hospice nurse.
