Jim and I are so sad the Lord called Jack home so soon. Jim loved his brother so much. I kinda loved him a lot, too. We will miss him but know he's with our Lord in heaven. We will all see him again one day. We love you very much and are a phone call away. Come see us soon! xo xo

Luci, I'm so sorry to here about Jack, we will always love and miss him at Diamond Jack's Casino. He was a very beautiful good person inside and out. I will miss dealing to his smiling face, chewing gum, talking about his grandkids all at the same time. My prayers are with you and your family.

Luci, I was very sadden to hear of Jack's passing. He will be truly miss by all that knew him here at Diamond Jacks. Everytime I seen him; he always greeted me with a kind word and a smile. You and your family are in my prayers. Stay in the faith and GOD will see you through.

Luci and Nikki...I am so sorry for you loss of Jack.  Many years ago living across the street on Norris, I remember all the fun, the parties you all had.  I am glad that you had such a special man in your lives.  Know that I am thinking of you both with prayer and that Jack's love for your family will always live in your memories.

Lucy, you have indeed lost your soul mate.  We know you'll miss Jack so much.  I really loved that guy and enjoyed working with him at Brammer.   He was always so friendly & just fun to be around.  May your memories comfort you with peace in the days to come.

The Final Salute

“Brothers in Arms”, Military men and women down through the centuries, have traditionally exchanged “Hand Salutes” as a sign of recognition and as a way to render courtesy and respect one to another. 

This “Hand Salute” is the last that we shall render to Jack P. Dority our “Brother-in-Arms”.   To his family it symbolizes the love and respect that we have for Jack.   And to Jack it is rendered as a symbol of honor and gratitude to thank him for the devoted and selfless service he rendered to his country during the Korean War while serving in the U.S. Army.  Jack, we bid you a sad farewell.  You will be dearly missed from among our ranks.  Be at Ease.  Rest in Peace.
