A Celebration of Life Service for Jack Christopher Cobb, Sr., age 33, of Benton, LA will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, March 8, 2018 at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Haughton, LA with Justin Haigler, Pastor of The Simple Church, Shreveport, LA officiating. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park. A time of visitation with friends and family will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday March 7, 2018 at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.
Jack was born in Bossier City, LA on September 18, 1984 to Clarence Melton Cobb and Patricia Marie Adkins Cobb. He went to be with the Lord on Friday March 2, 2018.
Jack enjoyed life to the fullest and was a Jack of All Trades. He loved spending time with family and friends, hanging out and visiting. He enjoyed fishing, building stuff, drawing, and the many joys of the outdoors. Jack was a very simple man, a very loving father and enjoyed playing with his children. Jack will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Jack is preceded in death by his daughter, Gracie Mae Cobb; grandparents, Estelle and Jack Cobb, Goldie Martin Elmer and Edna Baker; and cousins, Tiffany and Jennifer Miller.
Leaving behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Amber (Nikki) Cobb; sons, Joshua Baker and Jack Cobb Jr.; daughter, Sadie Cobb; parents, Pete and Pat Cobb; sisters, Sonya Griffen and Lisa Baker; brothers, Travis, Wade, and Shawn Cobb; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins; including many other family members and friends who knew and loved him.
Pallbearers will be Tommy (TJ) Young, Jonathan Young, Tommy Pagel, Cody Maroon, Sean Cobb, and Wade Cobb.
Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Cobb, Bart Crittenden, and Chad Brettillo.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Louisiana Patriot Militia and the Caddo Sheriff’s Search and Rescue.
