Helen Margaret Bengivenga

BOSSIER CITY, LA - Helen Margret Bengivenga went to be with her Heavenly Father on July 1, 2016. Helen was born in Warren Township, New Jersey to Otto and Riika Olsen. She resided in Plainfield, New Jersey most of her life. She later moved to the Shreveport/Bossier City area to live with her daughter, Linda, and son-in-law, Sam Falloon. Mom enjoyed her entire family to her fullest and they too, always enjoyed being around her with her comforting hug and wonderful smile.

Mom was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and enjoyed attending her Sunday school class, being greeted by her many friends that she loved and they her.

Preceding Helen in death are her parents; husband, Michael; sons, Anthony, Ronald, and Michael Bengivenga; one grandson, Sammie Falloon; and her brothers, Walter and Rudy Olsen.

Left to cherish her memory are Linda and Sam Falloon; daughter-in-law, Philomena Bengivenga; grandchildren, Ronald and Edward Bengivenga, Rhonda Spera, Lori Glutch, Anthony Jr., and Michael Bengivenga, Lisa Pressey, Michael and Dominick Bengivenga, Felicia Black, David, Jonathan, and Robbie Falloon; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

A special thank you to her very special friends that loved and helped care for her. Her last days were spent at Savannah Grand Assisted Living to which she was so thankful every day for the care and love given to her with her short stay there. Mom said "I know God led us here to Savannah because of the wonderful care she received."
