Gary Wayne Smith

A memorial service for Gary will be held Saturday, March 2, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Beulah Land Baptist Church, 3179 Sligo Rd, Haughton, Louisiana with Pastor Chad Mills officiating.

Gary was born in Alexandria, LA to Ulna and Violet Smith. He enlisted in the Navy after high school and served his country with pride. He was a diver and loved his time spent in the water. Gary received his Bachelors in engineering at Louisiana Tech and became an alumni and graduated with honors. He was a master plumber and owner, operator of G&H Plumbing/Gary Smith Plumbing. Gary enjoyed spoiling his grandsons and riding his motorcycle when he wasn't working. Mostly, he was active in his community, being a good neighbor and friend to all.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ulna Smith; mother, Violet Smith and brother, Carl.

Gary is survived by his daughter, Harley Smith; three grandsons, Hunter, Sean and Liam; brother, Lloyd Smith and wife Irm; and sister, Ann Smith.
