Fred Eugene Weaver Sr.

Doyline, LA

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on June 4, 2010, at 2:00 p.m for Fred Eugene Weaver, Sr. at Point Chapel Assembly of God in Doyline, LA. Officiating will be Reverend Ronald Dunn, Reverend Richard Bolt and Reverend Lee Nunley. Interment will follow the service at Hill Crest Memorial Park, in Haughton, LA. The family will be receiving friends at Hill Crest Memorial Park Thursday, June 3, 2010 from 5:00pm until 8:00 pm.

Mr. Weaver entered into rest on May 30, 2010. He was a native of Milton, PA, and was a resident of Doyline, LA. Mr. Weaver served 14 years of active duty with the USAF. He continued serving with the 307th Red Horse Reserve Unit at BAFB until his retirement. Mr. Weaver was so proud to have served with his son Chuck in the 307th Red Horse Unit. Mr. Weaver retired as a supervisor from United Parcel Service after 24 years of service.

Fred is survived by his wife of 52 years, Sue Primm Weaver, daughter, Suzanne Collins and husband Ron and son, Fred Weaver, Jr. and wife Lisa. Grandchildren: Brian Collins and wife Jennifer, Brent Collins, Craig Weaver and wife Casey, Candice Weaver, Amanda Tucker and husband Daniel, Cody Miller and Tyler Miller. He is preceded in death by his son Chuck Weaver who passed away in 2009, and his parents John Weaver and Virginia Buffington.

Pallbearers will be the United States Air Force Honor Guard. Honorary pallbearers will be Mr. Weaver’s grandsons: Brian Collins, Brent Collins, Craig Weaver, Tyler Miller, Cody Miller and Daniel Tucker.

Mr. Weaver was a very generous and giving man. His greatest love was his church, his family, and his country. He will be forever in our hearts.
