Graveside services for Frances J. “Grannie Fran” Tucker, 76, will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at Hill Crest Memorial Park, with Rev. Bill Nordmeyer officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at the Hill Crest Funeral Home.

Mrs. Tucker passed away April 30, 2011 in Natchitoches, LA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Lonnie Neal Tucker, brothers, Melvin Bruner, Leroy Bruner, and Charles Bruner.

Left to cherish Frances’ memory and tell her story will be her daughter Cindy McDonald and Husband Jeff of Natchitoches, LA; and son Barry Tucker and wife Cheryl of Elizabethtown, KY. Grandchildren Ryan McDonald, Colton McDonald, Hannah McDonald, Neal Tucker, Emily Brooks, and Beth Modgling and two great-grandchildren along with many wonderful friends.

Pallbearers will be Ryan McDonald, Neal Tucker, Colton McDonald, and Phillip Modgling.

The family extends a special thank you to Hospice of Natchitoches for their compassion and devoted care.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial gifts to be made to Hospice of Natchitoches.
