Fran attended school in Haughton, Louisiana her entire life. She graduated from Bossier Academy Private School and went on the attend college. She worked in Home Health for the majority of her career. Fran taught herself to play the guitar at 13 years old. She was extremely musically talented and had a beautiful singing voice. In her 40's she taught herself how to play the Dulcimer and her husband did the woodworking to make several Dulcimer to play. She had a love and natural talent for playing softball. Lots of people will remember her aggressive and impressive skills as a shortstop or pitching. She loved being on the water, boating, camping, riding in their side by side or out on the open roads on their Goldwing motorcycles she was a one of a kind, larger than life, hilarious, outgoing woman who loved to laugh. Her laugh was infectious to everyone who had the pleasure of hearing it.
Fran joins in Heaven her mother, Georgia Mae; father, Floyd; grandparents Charlie and Mae Lorraine Wilkins and in-laws Tom and Umeyo Brown.
Left to Cherish her memory is her husband of 40 years, Michael Brown; daughter, Farah Sirman (Gary May); son, Brandon Sirman (Hannah); her children's brother whom she loved as her own, Matthew Sirman (Sarah); grandchildren, who were her pride and joy, Kyler and Keegan Golden, Molly and Maddy Sirman; sister, Marie Lynn (Lonnie); brother-in-law, Peter Brown (Lisa); and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Services for Fran will be held Saturday, November 2, 2024 at 11am with a gathering of friends and family held prior from 10am until 11am at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home, with pastor Darrell Cooper officiating.
The family would like to offer a special thanks to Fran's childhood friend, Dr. Ted Warren, the Willis Knighton Bossier ER Staff and Bossier Parish EMS.
