The service will be officiated by Rev. A.J. Trosclair and assisted by Rev. Clarence Chism. The family will receive friends on

Friday, May 9, 2014 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will follow the service at Hill

Crest Memorial Park.

Elaine was a member of North Shreve Baptist Church and a Chaplain of Gideons Auxiliary of Bossier City Camp. She enjoyed

traveling and spending time with her family. Her past time was spent working in her garden.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Nona McKinney. Elaine is survived by her husband of 55 years, Broox Owen

and daughter, Elizabeth Owen Miller and husband Steve.

Pallbearers honoring Elaine will be the members of Bossier City Gideon Camp.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to The Gideons International in honor of Elaine.
