Family and friends will celebrate the life of Deborah Darlyn Sergeant May at 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 10, 2018, at The Pentecostals of Bossier Church, officiated by Pastor Jerry Dean with Ryan Dean assisting. Interment will follow in Hill Crest Memorial Park, Haughton, LA. There will be a brief visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. prior to the service.
Deborah was born in National City, CA on July 2, 1952, and passed away at home in Benton, LA on December 7, 2018, due to breast cancer. She had fought a hard and valiant battle but could fight no longer. She will be missed every day by her daughters, grandchildren, and all who knew and loved her.
Deborah is preceded in death by her parents, Wesley D. and Johnnie B. Sergeant; and her brother, Michael Dean Sergeant, Sr. She leaves behind three daughters, Crystal Nattin and husband Steven, Celeste Murray and husband Christopher, and Cynthia Evans and husband Gerald; and nine grandchildren, Dylan and Austin Martin, Alanea Bristow, Kendall Nattin, Ava and Greyson Murray, Ray, John, and Dusty Evans.
Pallbearers are Steven Nattin, Austin and Dylan Martin, Gerald Evans, Christopher Murray, and Terry Harris. Honorary pallbearers are Ray Evans and Jerry Anderson.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Christus Highland Cancer Center and Christus Hospice for all of their care and compassion shown to Deborah. We are so grateful to you all.
