PRINCETON, LA - A Celebration of Life service for Dale Shaw, 64, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 20, 2013 at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel with Bro. Scott Teutsch officiating. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park.
Dale was born in Converse, LA to Odis Shaw and Paula Sistrunk Shaw on December 23, 1948. His love for the Lord and his passion for music lead him to become a music minister and member of Shreveport Metropolitan Band. He enjoyed ice cream, and found time after his retirement to purchase an ice cream truck and share that with others.
He was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his mother, his wife Martha, numerous cousins and his best friends Wayne and Joan Sistrunk.
Pallbearers will be Weldon Dalton, Gary Burnes, John Burnes, Ersel Holder, Wayne Shaw and Don Thomas.
