“Mawmaw Cindy was the best listener you could ever ask for. You could go on for hours about any stupid topic and there she would be patiently waiting on your every word. When you were around her it felt like the world was a little more manageable, and every happy feeling you’ve had is amplified by a thousand. She was truly one of a kind, there will never again be anyone quite like her” – Camron Smith
“I think of how she was close to us at each stage of our lives. Shelly and I. Then you came along and took all the attention 😂. When she was here, Sid, Tom, and Shelly’s children, were able to get close. At this point in time, your family is very close to her. I guess what I’m saying is, at one time or another, she was a big part of all of our lives. That’s what moms do though. We are all blessed.” – Carey Eskew
