Claudene Davis

Services for Claudene S. Davis will be held at Hill Crest Funeral Home Chapel On Monday January 30, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. with the Reverend Darrell Cooper officiating. Interment will be at Green Oaks Cemetery in Baton Rouge Louisiana on Tuesday January 31, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. The family will be receiving visitors from 2:00 until the time of service on Monday January 30, 2012 at Hill Crest Funeral Home.

Claudene S. Davis, a Kilbourne, Louisiana native, was born May 24, 1934 to Claude and Thelma Sturdivant. After graduating high school she moved to Baton Rouge, Louisiana where she began her career in banking. In 1952 Claudene married Thomas Nelson Davis and in 1954 had a daughter. Claudene later retired and moved to Haughton Louisiana, where she attended First Baptist Church Princeton.

Claudene was preceded in death by both her parents and her husband.

She is survived by her daughter, Donna Davis Arnold and husband John; granddaughter Amy Navarre; great granddaughter Alyx Rose Jordan; brothers Ted, George, Ed, Terry, Jerry and John Sturdivant ; sisters Bobbie Cockrell and Angie Hooper,numerous nieces, nephews and many dear friends.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church Princeton, 1298 Princeton Rd, Princeton Louisiana 71067.
