BOSSIER CITY, LA – Services to celebrate the life of Carolyn L. Hauck will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 27, 2015, at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Forest Park Cemetery, St. Vincent Ave., Shreveport, LA. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Carolyn was born on August 2, 1948, in Tampa, FL and was the daughter of the late Darwin Ellis Goldsmith, Sr. and Pearl Brennenstuhl Goldsmith. She passed away at her home on the morning of November 23rd following a valiant fight with cancer.
Carolyn was our mother, grandmother, and friend. She loved the Lord, tending to her garden, fishing, interior design, and dancing. Carolyn loved and touched the lives of many. She will forever be in our hearts.
Carolyn is preceded in death by her sister, Sharon Kirkland; sister-in-law, Joyce Goldsmith; and her parents. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Lisa K. Adams, Kelley Laine Hauck Bonnette and husband Brynner, and Angela Renee Hauck; sons, Noble James Hauck, IV and family, and Kenneth Gerald Hauck and family; brother, Darwin “Butch” Ellis Goldsmith, Jr.; grandchildren, Caimen Gaige, Joey, Anna, Noble, Gabriel, Kaydence, and Delilah; four great-grandchildren; her fiance’ and “love of her life”, James Cowling; numerous nieces and nephews; her faithful pet and companion, Mia; and all of her lifelong friends.
Honoring Carolyn as pallbearers are Noble James Hauck, III, Noble James Hauck, IV, Noble James Hauck, V, Jimmy Davenport, Rocky Bustamento, Clay Haney, and Dr. Kenneth Bonnette. Honorary pallbearers are Christopher Scott Ward and Daryl Adcock.
