Brenda Gail Martin-nez

Funeral services for Brenda Gail Martin-nez will be held at 1:00pm on Wednesday, July 17, 2019, at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel with Rev. Bryan Reed, assistant pastor at The Simple Church officiating. Interment will follow in Hill Crest Memorial Park.

Brenda was born December 3, 1956 in Minden, Louisiana to the parents of Belvin Dewon and Opal Mary Evans White. She passed away peacefully at the age of 62 at her home in Keithville on July 13, 2019 following an extended illness. She was a full time house wife who was an amazing cook and someone who always took time to take care of others who needed help.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Roger Dale White. She is survived by her husband, George Earl Martin-nez; two sons, Joseph Dion and Travis Lane Martin-nez and wife Sandy; two daughters, Mary Tennille Stewart and husband Brad and Lisa Marie Baird and husband Jake; two brothers, Ronnie Wayne White, David Dewon White and wife Kay; fourteen grandchildren, Makayla and Brayli Stewart; Nevaeh, Mariah, Avah, and Leah Martin-nez; Dusty, Destiny, and Seth Martin-nez; Sydney, Sierra, Zander, and Jaylee Baird; and Joshua Canterbury.

As she moved on from this journey here on Earth to the next one, her memory will live on in the hearts of those that love her...gone but never forgotten.
