Graveside services for Bettye Sue Oats "Granny" Cobb, 81, will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at Hill Crest Memorial Park. Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, until service time.
Mrs. Cobb passed away October 30, 2010 in Bossier City. She was a homemaker and resident of Bossier City
most of her life.
She was preceeded in death by her parents, Pap and Bird Oats, four brothers, three sisters, husband, Glen Cobb, and daughter Pat Cobb Colbert, and daughter-in-law, Connie Cobb.
Left to cherish memory are her brother, Scott Oats and Vienna Oats of Mission,TX; and sister, Billy Tucker of Newark, Ohio; son, Al "Perky" Cobb and LaVelle Pinder; grandsons, Chase Colbert and wife Jodie; David Cobb and wife Robin; great-grandchildren, Austin, Tanner, and Kensey Colbert; Rachel and Natalie Cobb; and numerous family and friends.
Mom was of pioneer stock and we followed Dad around the world during his Air Force Career, settling in Bossier City in 1961.
Mom's goal in life was to satisfy and take care of her family which she always did. She had a quick wit and dry sense of humor and was loved by all who called her Granny.
Pallbearers will be Chase Colbert, David Cobb, Austin Colbert, Tanner Colbert, Kavin LaCaz, and Phillip Vaughan.
