Life Celebration services for Betty Thomas will be held 10 AM, Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home in Haughton, LA. The family will receive visitors from 5 PM to 8 PM on Tuesday, August 1, 0217 at the Funeral Home. Serving as officiant for the service is Rev. Al Van Dyke. Pallbearers include Brandon Provost, Dustin Provost, Matt Parsons, Matthew Harper, Andy Pleasant, and Danny Thomas.

John and Maggie Jolly welcomed their Betty Joan in to this world on August 27, 1931 in Hughes, AR. She was a devoted wife and a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother and friend. Betty passed peacefully in her sleep on July 28, 2017.

Preceding Mrs. Thomas in death is her first husband William Henry Provost, second husband Louis Daniel “Dan” Thomas, step-daughter Kathy Thomas Rachall and Son-in-law Bud Rachall . Left to cherish her memory are son John Provost (Maggie), daughter Carol Denise Pruitt (Dan), son Glen Provost (Patty), son Randy Thomas (Pam), daughter Jerri Lindsey (Duane), nineteen grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, one precious great-great grandchild and a host of other family members and friends.
