Barbara "Bobbi" Anne Valentine Smith

Barbara "Bobbi" Anne Valentine Smith, age 86 passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2025. She was born on September 11, 1938, in Shreveport, Louisiana, to the late James Wilson Valentine and Jessie Mae Wright Valentine Phelps. Bobbi started her working career in cosmetology, later obtaining her Real Estate license working as a Sales Agent, and finished out her working career as a licensed agent selling Life Insurance with Kilpatrick Insurance Co. She was always listed as a top sales agent when working in Realty. Bobbi was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Mansfield, Louisiana.

Bobbi was preceded in passing by her parents; her first husband, James Oliver Smith; Staci Blair McCord; and one brother, Kirby Phelps.

Left to cherish Bobbi's beautiful memory will be her two daughters: Darlene Gunn (Kenny); Toni Hall (Vaughn); four grandchildren: Jennifer Gunn Cartwright (Gray), Aimee Hall Kile (Casey), Chase Hall, Aubry Hall; four great-grandchildren: Jackson Cartwright, Cody Markham, Jase Kile, Addie Kile; along with extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.

A visitation for Bobbi will be held Monday, March 24, 2025 from 1:00 PM until time for her Celebration at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home, 601 Hwy 80, Haughton, Louisiana 71037, with Bro. Frankie Mathis officiating.

Bobbi will be laid to rest on the grounds of Hill Crest Memorial Park, 601 Hwy 80, Louisiana 71037.
