Services will be held to celebrate the life of Barbara Sue Dubois at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park. Visitation will be held for family and friends on Monday, January 9, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Barbara was born on March 3, 1960 in Harrisonburg, VA. She was raised in Bossier City and attended Airline High School. She worked for Evergreen for the majority of her career as a caregiver. Barbara had a big heart and was loved by her work family. She had a passion for carpentry, she always had a project she was working on. Barbara was full of energy, she enjoyed shopping, talking, antiquing and fishing. She was also a fan of watching local car racing.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Amber Rey Dubois and niece, Nikki Sites.
Barbara is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Claudie "Ray" Dubois; 3 grandchildren; one great grandchild; mother, Linda Walker; father, Jim Sites; stepfather, Mike Walker; brother, Jake Sites and wife Debbie; aunt, Janie Hood; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Joshua Henderson, Tracy Stovall, D.J. Sites, Ronald Dubois, Nick Hill, Billy Courtney, Jeremy Williams and Michael Ebarb.
