Barbara Ann Burnside

After a long battle of health conditions, Barbara Ann Burnside of Bossier City, LA passed away and entered fully into the presence of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on August 16, 2023. She was born on December 28, 1961 and was 61 years old.

She is preceded in death by her parents, E.J. and Maria (Rivas) Burnside and her granddaughter, Kenzie.

Barbara grew up in a loving family and is survived by her daughter, April Maldonado and fiancé Michael McKinnon; son, Jacob Warwick; granddaughters, Katelyn and Kayleigh; brothers, Arvel Burnside and wife Jodie, Richard Burnside and wife Pam; sister, Rose Burnside; and many nieces and nephews.

She was a beloved mother, grandmother (Meme), sister, daughter, aunt and friend. She will be greatly missed and is now in the arms of our Heavenly Father.

Services for Barbara will be held on Monday, August 21, 2023 at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am with a service at 11:00 am. Officiating will be Pastor Jerry Dean of The Pentecostals of Bossier City. Following the service a reception will take place in the hospitality room of Hill Crest.
