Azyl’Lee Blake Jones, born and went home to be with her heavenly father, on March 22, 2021. Born in Shreveport, LA at St. Mary’s Women’s Hospital, she would have had a permanent residence in Olney, TX. She was only carried for a moment, but will be LOVED for a lifetime !
With such a brief time on this earth, there were so many things that we didn’t get to share together. However, YOU were loved by so many.
Survivors are: her loving parents, Andy and Hollie Jones (father, mother); siblings: Sierra Jones (sister), Jordan Jones (sister), Meagan Jones (sister), Kenny Kelding (brother), Jake Jones (brother), Maddy Kelding (sister), and Kenzie Jones (sister); grandparents: Dorothea and Glenn (H.G.) Scruggs, Julaine Jones, and Darren Peterson; great-grandparents: Donald and Barbara Futch, Shirley Adkison, Sue Peterson, and Mary Pace; aunts and uncles: Randy and Claire Nelson, Lora and Ryan Wilkinson, Jessica Peterson, and Stephen Nelson; cousins: Karsen Lynn Guyer, Harper Faith Wilkinson, Isabel Jane Nelson, and many, many more; great-aunts and great-uncles: David and Lena Harris, Donna and William Flores, Holly and Brian Overholser, Bart Jenkins , Anne Corwin, and Tammy Jenkins.
Predeceased by: grandparents: Timothy Daniel Pace, and J.D. Jones; great-grand parents: Pete Peterson, Pauline and Andy Copeland, Dorothy Richardson, Samuel Joseph Knighton, Lena and Sanford Futch, Larry Adkison, Julia and Roy Jones, Ima Lou and Richard Chamblee, Hilburn and Glenda Scruggs, and Hollis Pace; aunts and uncles: Zakk Nelson ,Clay Chamblee, and Fonda Roberts.
Services are Bapticostal, held at Hillcrest Funeral Home, with Dr. Dr. Ed Gonzalez, from Linwood Baptist Church, presiding, within the Mausoleum Chapel, Saturday, March 27th at 2:30 p.m.

Special Thanks to her entire family, and our friends, for your love and care shown to her and to us, the outpouring of love from each of you is so very special and will always remain in our mind and hearts. A very special thanks sent to those that loved and helped her and us through this very hard time and to Nurse Tori Rockwell, she lovingly cared for Azyl’Lee, patiently cared for us, showed more than compassion to aid us through the loss, and went above and beyond with her tenderness.
