Angela Stewart

She was born on August 16, 1969, in Texarkana, Texas. Angela graduated from Genoa High School in 1987. While she was born and raised in Texas, Angela spent the majority of her life in Louisiana. Angela’s life dedication and greatest love was her family. She was an amazing wife, mother, Mimi, daughter, sister and aunt. She loved spending time with her family, spoiling them with her home cooked meals, dancing in the living room with her grandkids and all of the little moments in between. The little moments always meant the most to her. Angela truly had a heart of gold and the memories she left behind will always be cherished.

Angela is preceded in death by her father, Jerry Flaherty; and her stepmother, Barbara Flaherty.

Angela is survived by her beloved husband, Jeffry Stewart; four daughters: Amber Shockley (Blake), Amanda Sexton (Jerry), Allison Sexton and Anna Sexton; one son, Logan Stewart (Stormy); eleven grandchildren: Avery, Aubree, Jolie, Layton, Layne, A’Bree, Autumn, Rylan, Brody, Maddox and Heidi; her mother, Linda Maxey McCarter and stepfather, Steve McCarter; her sister, Tonya Flaherty; her two brothers, Todd Flaherty and Tracy Flaherty; in-laws, Julius and Joyce Stewart and Monica Stewart; as well as nieces and nephews; and special family members, Sondra and Johnny Smith.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel. The family receive friends from 2 PM until 3 PM immediately followed by a memorial service.
