Our precious little angel, Amir Sagee Yates, beloved infant son of Ta’myia Yates and Katrevon Taylor of Bossier City went to his Heavenly home with the Lord on Friday, July 7, 2023. Amir smiled and loved cooing throughout his one month and four days that Lord had blessed us with along with bringing so much love and joy into our lives.
A service will be held 10:00 am on Friday, July 14, 2023 at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Craig Johnson, of Northpoint Community Church, will be presiding. Burial will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 9:15 am until 10:00 am.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his big brother, Kymir and his little brother/identical twin Zymir; grandparents, Paige Yates and Shawn Johnson and Laquinta and Sedrick Brooks, Sr.; honorary grandparents, Kasey Brown and Barry Cooper, Jr.; great grandparents, Angela Yates, Linda Johnson and Karen Williams; maternal aunts and uncles, Tamyea Yates, Laurynzoe Sampson, Dentrell Hamilton, Ryleagh Sampson, Karter Sampson, Lakendre Cortez Pugh, Jr., Isaiah Miguel Pugh, Shawn Andrew Munoz, Jose Santana Munoz, Alexander DeAndre Munoz and Bryson Johnson; paternal aunts and uncles, Jordan Taylor, Kaylee Taylor and Sedrick Brooks, Jr.; and numerous great aunties, great uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends that loved Amir so much.
The family thanks everyone for their prayers and words of comfort in this time. Amir, even though you were only with us such a short time, you left an impression that will last a lifetime. Baby boy we will never forget you and are going to make sure that your brothers know that they have their very own personal angel watching over them forever. Sleep on our precious Amir until we can see and hold you again.
