She was born in Salamanca Guanajuato Mexico on Aug. 30, 1985, to Jose Arturo Alba Lara and Maria Esther Juarez Guani. Alejandra received her degree in business administration from Universidad DeLaSalle Bajio Salamanca.
Alejandra loved and enjoyed her nieces and nephews and took great joy in spoiling and spending time with them. Family was extremely important to her and she didn’t want to let anyone down and would make great personal sacrifices to make others happy. She would give everyone close to her a nickname and was able to light up the room.
She also was deeply moved by music and enjoyed many concerts such as Marco Antonio Solís, Pearl Jam, Van Halen, Metallica, U2, Dua Lipa, Depeche Mode, The Cure and was also a big fan of boy bands. Alejandra would spend many nights with loved ones listing and singing along to music and talking about how it relates to their lives and experiences.
She also loved furry things, especially cats, rabbits, Ewoks, Gizmo and bears, there wasn’t a furry animal she didn’t want to pet. Alejandra didn’t mind suffering the consequences of being allergic to them, going as far as fostering cats and volunteering at adoption events. She would also wear the cutest clothing representing those furry things, even wearing an Ewok dress out fine dining.
She will be sadly missed by her mother and father, of Salamanca; siblings, Arturo (Maria) Alba of Salamanca, Marisol Alba of Salamanca and Daniel (Angelica) Alba of Salamanca; ex-husband Scott Berry of Dallas Texas; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, as well as other family and friends.
Mass was held in the Sanctuary of Guadalupe Salamanca city center on Sunday, Feb. 11, 2024.
